SLP Basalt Tech + Park Ready Core

Our park boards come equipped with a 10mm Poplar and Paulownia Woodcore with 3 dual Bamboo stringers - Creating a lightweight board with a snappy feel. 

Over the core are Basalt Fiber Tension Bands.

 

There are 3 shorter bands in the tip and tail running from contact point to “center” underfoot + 2 longer bands in the center with a space between the band sections. This space is called the Press Pocket. This was designed to fit exactly where a board would normally be pressed, allowing for easy butters on stiff boards. Truly a park design, with all-mountain enthusiasm in the background!
